About the Role As the Year 6 Class Teacher , you will take responsibility for leading a Year 6 class through their final year of primary education. You will deliver high-quality teaching across the curriculum, with a strong focus on English and mathematics, while also supporting pupils’ wider development, independence, and readiness for secondary school. You will work closely with experienced teaching assistants, senior leaders, and the wider KS2 team to plan engaging lessons, analyse progress data, and implement targeted interventions. The role requires a confident and organised teacher who can maintain high expectations, motivate pupils, and provide consistent support throughout the year. This role is suitable for both experienced Year 6 teachers and confident Key Stage 2 teachers who are ready to step into Year 6. Early Career Teachers with strong KS2 placements and a clear understanding of assessment and data may also be considered with appropriate support.
