Job description
A high-performing secondary school in Cambridge is seeking a meticulous and well-organised Examinations Officer to oversee all aspects of internal and external examinations from February 2026. This is a key role requiring accuracy, calm organisation and strong communication skills. You will manage exam entries, timetables and results, working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff and external awarding bodies. The school is known for its clear systems, strong results and professional culture. The Exams Officer is a respected and trusted member of the wider school team. Responsibilities include: Managing GCSE and A-Level exam entries and timetables Coordinating exam invigilation and access arrangements Liaising with awarding bodies and ensuring compliance Supporting results days and post-results services The school offers: Clear annual exam cycles and established processes Supportive leadership and admin colleagues Training and development opportunities A role with real responsibility and impact This position would suit an Exams Officer who thrives on organisation and precision and enjoys being central to a school’s success.
