Job description
Our Client is looking for a Science ECT to work within a well-established mixed school in Huddersfield. This is a full-time position starting January 2026. Science ECT required to work on a full-time basis Successful school in Huddersfield Excellent opportunity to join a supportive and developing department Our Client is seeking a Science ECT eager to gain classroom experience in a department known for strong mentoring and modern resources. Experience and Qualifications • Science ECT • Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to development • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE) • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This mixed comprehensive serves around 1,200 students and achieves consistent results, with 92% of pupils gaining grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The Science department has newly refurbished laboratories, digital tools, and experienced mentors supporting new teachers. ECTs are paired with experienced staff during their induction and offered subject-specific training sessions. The school values collaboration and reflective practice, creating an ideal environment for new teachers to develop.
