Job description

Start Date: Full-time role commencing January 2026; Fixed-Term Maternity Cover. Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope Cellular Specialist: Instructing Biology at the highest level, primarily focusing on Key Stage 5 (A-Level) instruction. Academic Driver: Driving high attainment through complex theory delivery and rigorous preparation for highly competitive university applications. Research Mentor: Supporting students in extended project qualifications and fostering deep scientific inquiry and robust practical laboratory skills. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Relevant Degree in Biology or a related field and demonstrably strong experience teaching Biology to A-Level. QTS is required. Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS), commensurate with experience and the specialized nature of the role.
