Job description
Do you want to work in a successful and well-organised school with a strong administrative team? A high-performing secondary school in Nottingham is seeking a School Administrator to join their central office team from January 2026. The role includes front-office responsibilities, student and parent communication, data entry, attendance support, and general administrative tasks essential to daily school operations. Both experienced school administrators and candidates from corporate or public-sector administration backgrounds are encouraged to apply. School Administrator Full time January 2026 start Key role within the school operations team School Information This 11–18 mixed school, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, educates approximately 1,400 students and is known across Nottinghamshire for its academic excellence and inclusive ethos. The school benefits from excellent transport links across Nottingham and surrounding areas such as Beeston, West Bridgford, and Arnold. The administration department is central to the smooth functioning of the school, working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, and pastoral teams. Experience and Qualifications Experience in administration or office management Proficiency with school MIS systems (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom) desirable Strong IT, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure Salary This School Administrator position will be paid to scale on a direct contract.
