Job description
Finance Officer required January 2026 Good mixed school based in Chelmsford Finance Officer to join a well-organised and professional support team Our Client is looking for a Finance Officer to work within a large and successful mixed secondary school in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will oversee daily financial operations, including processing invoices, managing budgets, and assisting with payroll. School Information This 11–18 comprehensive educates around 1,300 pupils and continues to achieve excellent academic results, with 94% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The school has a strong reputation for efficiency and financial integrity, with a supportive and collaborative administrative team. Staff describe the environment as professional, friendly, and well-managed. The leadership team encourages development and values attention to detail and teamwork. The Finance Officer will report directly to the School Business Manager and work closely with teaching and non-teaching staff.
