Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redbridge, starting in April 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs. Interviews will be held as soon as possible. KS1 Teacher Role Start Date: April 2025 Location: Redbridge Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: Full-Time The School This friendly and nurturing 2-form entry primary school in Redbridge is known for its strong sense of community and commitment to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for both staff and pupils. The leadership team is approachable and supportive, prioritising staff well-being and professional growth. The school is dedicated to fostering inclusive and high-quality teaching, ensuring every child is valued and able to achieve their best. KS1 Teacher Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners in KS1. Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, ensuring all children are supported to reach their full potential. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love of learning. Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with SEND and EAL. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and the wider school community to ensure high standards of teaching and learning. Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding their child’s development and progress. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including participating in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities. KS1 Teacher Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies. A passion for supporting young learners and a commitment to their academic and personal development. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A reflective practitioner who is committed to ongoing professional development. A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive and flexible attitude.
