Job description
Are you an energetic and reflective Lower Key Stage 2 teacher who loves creating learning that stretches and excites pupils? Do you enjoy building deeper subject knowledge and skills? If so, we’d love to welcome you. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join our inclusive and high-achieving primary school in Lincolnshire from January 2026. This is a permanent position, open to full-time and part-time applicants, with potential for a TLR for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate. About the School Our Lincolnshire school serves a lively, diverse community with strong outcomes and a nurturing ethos. We prioritise high-quality teaching, pupil wellbeing and staff development within a collaborative culture. The Role Position: Year 4 Class Teacher Location: Lincolnshire Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time Considered TLR: Available for Subject or Phase Leadership (for the right candidate) As our Year 4 Teacher, you will: Deliver inspiring lessons that deepen pupils’ knowledge across the curriculum. Build confidence in reading, writing and mathematics and foster a growth mindset. Use assessment to plan stretch activities and targeted support. Foster a classroom where pupils feel safe, supported and willing to take risks. Work in partnership with parents and colleagues to secure strong progress. (If applicable) Lead a subject or phase area as part of a TLR. What We’re Looking For We welcome applicants who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 4. Are confident delivering a rich and balanced curriculum. Have strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate creativity, positivity and a commitment to inclusion.
