Job description
We are working with a highly regarded Independent secondary school in the Norwich area that is seeking an innovative and skilled Teacher of Design Technology to join their forward-thinking department from January . This is a full-time, permanent role , offering the opportunity to teach in a well-resourced environment with small class sizes and highly engaged students. The Role You will teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4 , with opportunities to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and subject specialism. The department places strong emphasis on practical skill development, design thinking, and problem-solving , allowing students to engage deeply with the design process from concept to manufacture. You will be involved in curriculum planning, assessment, and enrichment , including design projects, exhibitions, and cross-disciplinary initiatives. Specialisms such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, or CAD/CAM would be particularly welcomed, though flexibility is valued.
