Job description
A dedicated and knowledgeable Physics Teacher is sought by a well-regarded Independent co-educational school in Islington. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5 with the fundamental principles of physics and its applications in the world around them. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics Teacher lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5. Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-Level Physics examinations, ensuring a thorough understanding of core concepts. Foster a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment that encourages scientific exploration and critical thinking. Assess and monitor student progress in Physics, providing clear and constructive feedback to enhance their learning journey. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics or Science with a strong Physics background. Demonstrated experience teaching Physics at the secondary level, including A-Level teaching experience being desirable. A strong and comprehensive knowledge of physical principles and effective teaching methodologies relevant to the subject. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex scientific ideas clearly and engagingly to a diverse range of learners. Benefits Inner London Payscale.
