Job description
School Status & Location Sector: Outstanding Ofsted Secondary School (with Sixth Form). Borough: Brent (Inner London, England). Start Date: Permanent, full-time role commencing January 2026. The Opportunity & School Profile This Outstanding Ofsted school, which includes a Sixth Form, seeks a highly motivated Physics teacher (ECT Support) to join its Science faculty. The school requires an individual passionate about physical forces and investigation, focusing on Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This Full-Time, Permanent role offers a highly structured curriculum and dedicated mentoring time for your ECT induction. Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope Force Field Specialist: Instructing Science (Physics) across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only. Practical Pioneer: Driving high attainment by fostering strong practical and investigative skills, especially in electrical and mechanical principles. Lab Support: Collaborating with technicians on the preparation and safe use of equipment. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in Physics or a related field. Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS), reflecting Inner London weighting. Support: Robust, structured ECT induction program and dedicated time for professional development.
