SEN Teacher – Inclusive Secondary School – Weymouth – ASAP Start Location: Weymouth Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS An enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher is required for an inclusive secondary school in Weymouth. The school prides itself on providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about working with students who have a range of learning difficulties, including autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, and who is committed to helping them achieve their full potential. Your Role as SEN Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for students with a range of SEN, including those with autism, dyslexia, and speech and language difficulties. Provide tailored support to students, helping them develop their academic and social skills. Work closely with the SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other teachers to ensure students’ individual needs are met. Implement a variety of teaching strategies to support students with SEN, ensuring an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback and adapting lessons to support their development. Who We’re Looking For: A qualified teacher with experience in supporting students with SEN. A creative and flexible approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt lessons for a variety of learning needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents. A deep commitment to inclusion and the belief that every student can succeed.
