The Opportunity & School Profile This Outstanding secondary school requires an enthusiastic Maths Teacher (ECT Support). The school offers a highly structured curriculum and dedicated support, ensuring a robust start to your ECT induction. The focus is on developing core numerical and problem-solving skills in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE). Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope Equation Explorer: Instructing Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only. Problem Solver: Delivering structured lessons to develop foundational analytical skills and mathematical fluency. Tutoring Guide: Assisting with intervention sessions and contributing to academic support programmes. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in Mathematics. Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS), reflecting Inner London weighting. Support: Robust, structured ECT induction programme and reduced timetable for mentoring.
