Music Teacher – Thriving and Creative School – Yeovil – September Start Location: Yeovil | Contract: Full-Time, Permanent | Salary: MPS/UPS A thriving and creative secondary school in Yeovil is seeking a Music Teacher to join its vibrant Performing Arts Department from September. Music is central to the school’s cultural identity and is well-supported across all year groups. Why Join This School? As a Music Teacher, you will work in a dedicated music suite with practice rooms, recording equipment, and instruments for a wide range of ensembles. Music enjoys high participation rates and enthusiastic support from both students and parents. The school encourages creative expression and provides regular opportunities for public performance. Your Role as Music Teacher: You will be responsible for teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of delivering A-Level or BTEC Music. The Music Teacher will prepare students for performances, exams, and competitions, as well as lead extracurricular music clubs. You’ll foster creativity, musical literacy, and collaborative performance skills in your classes. Who We’re Looking For: We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Music Teacher who can inspire students and instil a lifelong appreciation for music. You will have a deep understanding of musical theory and practice, strong classroom presence, and the ability to teach a broad range of musical styles.
