Food Technology Teacher – Well-Respected Secondary School – Slough – September Start Location: Slough Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS A talented and passionate Food Technology Teacher is required for a well-respected secondary school in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students to develop their culinary skills and understand the science behind food production. Your Role as Food Technology Teacher: • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Food Technology across KS3 and KS4. • Teach students about nutrition, food safety, food science, and culinary techniques. • Inspire students to develop practical cooking skills and explore food-related career pathways. • Support students in their coursework, GCSE projects, and practical assessments. • Lead extracurricular food clubs and school events related to food preparation and cooking. Who We’re Looking For: • A qualified Food Technology Teacher (QTS/PGCE or equivalent). • Strong subject knowledge in food technology, nutrition, and culinary arts. • A creative approach to teaching and the ability to inspire students. • Excellent organizational and classroom management skills. • Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
