Job description
An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join a high-achieving and supportive school in Coventry, starting in September 2025. About the Role: As a Psychology Teacher, you’ll be responsible for teaching the subject to students across KS4 and KS5 (GCSE and A-Level), with the opportunity to guide the department’s growth and direction. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with a passion for Psychology and leadership aspirations. You will: Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons across GCSE and A-Level Psychology. Develop the curriculum and contribute to enhancing teaching methods. Lead a team or take on additional responsibilities within the Psychology department. Monitor and support student progress, ensuring all students achieve their full potential. Participate in departmental meetings to share best practices and strategies. Who We Are Looking For: A qualified Psychology Teacher (degree in Psychology or related subject). Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Psychology . A passion for helping students succeed in the subject. Leadership potential , with a desire to take on a TLR role to contribute to departmental growth. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. School Information: The school is highly rated by Ofsted, offering a supportive and dynamic learning environment. Students are motivated, with a strong interest in Psychology and its applications. Located in Coventry, the school is easily accessible by public transport and has excellent facilities for both students and staff. The Package: Full-time , permanent role starting in September 2025.
