Job description
An enthusiastic Science Teacher with a specialism and passion for Physics is required to join a well-regarded Independent co-educational school in Enfield. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the fundamental principles of physics and their applications in the world around us. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons with a focus on Physics to Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students effectively for GCSE Science examinations, with a strong emphasis on physical concepts. Foster a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment for scientific exploration and experimentation in physics. Assess and monitor student progress in Science (Physics), providing clear and constructive feedback to support their understanding. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics or Science with a strong Physics background. Demonstrated experience teaching Science with a focus on Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4. A strong and comprehensive knowledge of physical principles and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex physical ideas clearly and engagingly to students. Benefits Outer London Payscale.
