Job description
A high-achieving secondary school in High Wycombe is seeking a skilled and motivated Design Technology Teacher to join their successful DT department on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a school with strong academic outcomes, high expectations, and a clear commitment to practical and creative learning. The Role You will teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience and specialism. The role involves delivering a balanced curriculum of practical and theory-based lessons, supporting students in developing design thinking, technical skills, and problem-solving ability. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess and track student progress, and maintain a safe, well-organised workshop environment in line with health and safety requirements. You will work closely with a collaborative and experienced department that values consistency, innovation, and high standards of teaching and learning.
