Job description
A dynamic and inspiring Drama Teacher is required to join a well-regarded Independent co-educational school in Brent. The successful candidate will foster creativity, confidence, and a love of theatre in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons covering performance, script analysis, and theatre history across Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students effectively for GCSE Drama examinations and practical performances. Cultivate a supportive and collaborative environment where students can explore their dramatic talents and develop their performance skills. Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular drama clubs, school productions, and theatre trips. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama or Performing Arts. Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at Key Stages 3 and 4. Strong knowledge of dramatic literature, performance techniques, theatre history, and contemporary theatre practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and directorial skills, capable of inspiring students and leading successful theatrical productions. Benefits Inner London Payscale.
