About the Role: Deliver engaging and stimulating Business Studies lessons to GCSE and potentially A-Level students, fostering a love of the subject and a deep understanding of business concepts. Prepare and deliver high-quality teaching materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and resources, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic development through individualised learning strategies. Contribute to the ongoing development of the Business Studies curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant, challenging, and engaging for all students. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department and across the school to share best practices and contribute to the school's overall success. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Business Studies, with a strong understanding of the GCSE and A-Level specifications. Demonstrates a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE and/or A-Level is highly desirable.
