Job description
A dedicated and inspiring Maths Teacher is required to join a well-regarded Independent co-educational school in Barnet. The successful candidate will cultivate a love for mathematics and develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students effectively for GCSE Mathematics examinations, ensuring a deep understanding of mathematical principles. Foster a supportive and challenging classroom environment that encourages mathematical reasoning and exploration. Assess and monitor student progress in Maths, providing clear and constructive feedback to support their mathematical journey. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics. Demonstrated experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4. A strong and comprehensive knowledge of mathematical concepts and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex mathematical ideas clearly and engagingly to students of varying abilities. Benefits Outer London Payscale.
