SEN Teacher – Mainstream SEN Department – Primary School – Bexley 📍 Location: Bexley 📅 Start Date: ASAP 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking to make a difference in a mainstream primary school ? Your Role as an SEN Teacher: 🔹 Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students within the mainstream SEN department. 🔹 Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure every student is supported to reach their potential. 🔹 Collaborate with the SENCO and wider staff to monitor and track student progress. 🔹 Provide individual and small group interventions to support students with a variety of needs, including learning difficulties, speech and language, and social-emotional needs. 🔹 Use innovative teaching strategies to create engaging lessons and foster positive learning environments . 🔹 Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ✅ Experience working with SEN students , ideally within a mainstream setting . ✅ A patient, flexible, and proactive teaching approach. ✅ Strong knowledge of SEN best practices and differentiation strategies . ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
