Drama Teacher – Independent Girls’ School in Croydon (January Start) Location: Croydon Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale (Independent School) An exceptional independent girls’ school in Croydon is seeking a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join their thriving Performing Arts Department. About the School The school boasts excellent theatre facilities, a strong creative arts culture, and a history of outstanding performing arts productions. Staff benefit from a collaborative environment and extensive professional development opportunities. The Role • Teach Drama across Years 7–13, including GCSE and A Level. • Direct and support school productions, performances, and drama clubs. • Develop schemes of work that encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression. • Work closely with colleagues across the arts and wider school community. Requirements • QTS and a degree in Drama or Performing Arts. • Experience directing or supporting theatre productions. • Strong enthusiasm for developing students’ performing arts skills.
