Job description
Drama Teacher Lambeth Full-Time, Permanent Position A vibrant and creative secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a passionate and dynamic Drama Teacher to join their successful Performing Arts department. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a thriving arts culture within the school. The successful Drama Teacher is integral to our school. YOU WILL: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable, but not essential). Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback (both written and practical). Maintain accurate student records. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Performing Arts department. Contribute to extra-curricular Drama activities (productions, clubs, etc.). Direct and/or support school performances. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians. Ensure Health and Safety compliance. YOU ARE: A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent). Experienced in teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Passionate about Drama and theatre. An excellent classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills. Committed to raising student achievement and fostering creativity and confidence. A collaborative team player.
