Job description
An Ofsted Outstanding Sixth Form College in Birmingham is seeking a permanent, full-time Teacher of Economics, starting January 2026. Join a specialist college with exceptional progression rates. About the School This high-achieving Outstanding Sixth Form is highly regarded for its structured environment and excellent academic results across a broad range of subjects. The Economics department is highly successful, with a large uptake at A-Level. The college culture emphasizes clear routines and collective staff ambition. Responsibilities You will deliver stimulating instruction in Economics across Key Stages 4 (GCSE) and 5 (A-Level). Your core focus is driving high attainment in complex micro and macroeconomics and promoting critical debate. You must contribute to academic societies and deliver high-quality exam preparation and extension classes for Oxbridge/LSE applications. Requirements You must hold QTS and have successfully completed your induction programme. You must have significant experience teaching Economics to A-Level. You must have the right to work in the UK.
