Job description
We are looking for an energetic Drama ECT to join us, providing a stable and supportive 2-year induction while you contribute to the flourishing creative life of our school. As a member of our Creative Arts faculty, you will be welcomed into a highly creative, collaborative environment where the "team" in teaching is taken literally. The leadership team values the impact of Drama on student development and ensures you are fully supported with professional-standard facilities. The Role & Responsibilities Supporting the Performing Arts Lead, you will deliver the vital performance training that allows students to find their voice. Performance Coaching: Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4, balancing physical performance with the study of influential practitioners. Production Management: Assisting in the direction and coordination of major annual school productions and theatre trips. Curriculum Design: Helping to create inclusive and diverse schemes of work that reflect our vibrant school community. Professional Reflection: Engaging in regular peer observations to accelerate your development into an expert practitioner. Requirements Degree: BA (Hons) in Drama, Theatre Studies, or Performing Arts. QTS: Evidence of successful completion of teacher training. Right to Work: Must possess the legal right to work in the UK. Salary & Contract Details Salary Range: £40,317 – £62,496 (M1 – UPS3 Inner London Scale) Hours: Full-time | Permanent Contract | ASAP Start
