Job description
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science ECT to join a supportive, ambitious and well-regarded secondary school in Cheltenham from January 2026. About the Role As a Science ECT, your responsibilities will include: • Teaching Science across KS3–KS4 • Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory lessons • Assessing and tracking student progress with clear, supportive feedback • Contributing to science clubs, enrichment events and STEM activities • Participating fully in the ECT induction programme • Working collaboratively with experienced colleagues to develop your classroom practice Experience and Qualifications • Degree in a Science-related subject • PGCE with QTS (ECTs encouraged to apply) • Strong subject knowledge and willingness to learn • Passion for inspiring students in science Salary Paid to scale – MPS Application This Science ECT opportunity in Cheltenham offers the ideal environment to begin your teaching career.
