Join Us and Help Shape Brighter Futures At Depaul UK, we believe in people’s potential — and we take action every day to help unlock it. Whether you’re supporting young people directly or strengthening our organisation behind the scenes, your work will create real, lasting impact. Working proactively with colleagues and external agencies, you’ll use clear communication, strong boundaries and steady problem‑solving to maintain safety and wellbeing throughout the night. Please note that this job opportunity is offered as a Part-time ( 19 hours per week ), permanent role. In this role, you will: • Carry out night‑time health & safety checks, risk assessments and incident reporting • Safeguard young people aged 18–25, responding calmly and appropriately to concerns • Maintain a safe, supportive and welcoming environment throughout the night • Support new residents settling in and prepare accommodation for arrivals • Build positive, professional relationships using clear communication and strong boundaries • Work effectively with colleagues and external agencies to support client wellbeing • Apply psychologically informed, strengths‑based approaches to client interactions • Keep accurate records and contribute to smooth service operations About You You support young people through the night by maintaining a safe, calm and supportive environment, using strong communication, safeguarding awareness and steady, solution‑focused decision‑making. You complete safety checks, manage risk, respond confidently to incidents and build respectful, professional relationships while working inclusively and maintaining clear boundaries. Drawing on experience from support or care settings, you work independently and collaboratively, ensuring accurate digital record‑keeping and contributing to a positive, wellbeing‑focused service. What You’ll Receive • Tailored training and development • Flexible working options where suitable • 26 days annual leave, rising with service • Family‑friendly leave policies • Pension scheme with employer contributions up to 7% • Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 GP access • Discounts across retail, travel, food, fitness and more • Cash health plan for you and your family • Death‑in‑service benefit • Access to legal and practical support Safer Recruitment Depaul UK is committed to fair and inclusive recruitment, and we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. If a role requires it under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975, we will carry out the appropriate Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check. We only look at information that is relevant to the role, and a criminal record will never be treated as an automatic barrier to employment.
