Job description
Geography Teacher – Outstanding School – Surrey An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Surrey , known for its academic success and excellent student outcomes, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their dynamic Humanities department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5). Responsibilities: The successful Geography Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons designed to inspire students and achieve excellent results. You will cover a broad range of physical and human geography topics, develop students' geographical skills including data analysis and fieldwork, and foster critical thinking about global issues. Assessing student progress effectively and contributing to the vibrant Geography curriculum are key duties for this Geography Teacher role. Requirements: Applicants must be a qualified Geography Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Geography or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level, ideally with a track record of strong student attainment, is essential. A passion for the subject, excellent communication skills, and strong classroom management are required. We are looking for an exceptional Geography Teacher .
