Attendance Officer – Girls’ School in Lambeth (January Start) Location: Lambeth Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive A highly respected 11–18 girls’ school in Lambeth is seeking a committed and detail-focused Attendance Officer to start in January. School Information The school has a warm, inclusive culture and a strong focus on safeguarding and student well-being. With excellent pastoral systems and a dedicated support team, the school places a high priority on attendance, punctuality, and engagement. Role Overview The Attendance Officer will be responsible for monitoring student attendance, liaising with parents and staff, and supporting pastoral teams to improve student engagement. Key Responsibilities • Accurately record and update daily attendance data • Follow up on absences and late arrivals with parents/carers • Produce attendance reports for senior leaders • Work closely with pastoral and safeguarding teams • Support strategies to improve punctuality and attendance Requirements • Experience in school administration or attendance roles (preferred) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent attention to detail and IT proficiency • Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive situations Application: If you are interested, please send your CV as soon as possible.
