Job description
We are currently seeking an energetic and talented Music ECT to join a creative and forward-thinking secondary school in Wiltshire . This full-time, permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to start your teaching career in a school that celebrates musical performance and creativity. • Music ECT • Creative Secondary School in Wiltshire • Full-time, permanent position • Excellent mentoring and CPD for early career teachers • Music ECT role starting January 2026 School Information This Wiltshire school has an outstanding reputation for performing arts and whole-child education . The Music Department is central to the school’s identity, with well-equipped rehearsal rooms, digital music studios, and a concert hall. The department works closely with the local community to host performances, concerts, and workshops, giving students rich opportunities to showcase their talents. Role Information As a Music ECT, you will teach Music across KS3/4 and contribute to the school’s extensive extra-curricular programme, including ensembles, choirs, and productions. You will receive excellent support through the school’s ECT induction programme and mentoring from experienced music educators. Experience and Qualifications • Degree in Music or related subject • PGCE and QTS • Ability to teach Music to KS3/4 • A passion for performance, creativity, and music education Salary Paid to scale on MPS Application This Music ECT role provides an excellent opportunity to begin your teaching career in a supportive and creative Wiltshire school that values both academic and artistic excellence.
