SEN Teacher – Positive SEN School – Westminster 📍 Location: Westminster 📅 Start Date: April 2024 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) Are you a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher looking to make a real impact? A positive and well-resourced SEN school in Westminster is seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join their team in April. Your Role as an SEN Teacher: 🔹 Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students with a range of SEN needs. 🔹 Create a structured, supportive, and nurturing learning environment. 🔹 Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and support team. 🔹 Use adaptive teaching strategies to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs. 🔹 Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to provide holistic student support. 🔹 Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as needed. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ✅ Experience working with students with SEN , ideally in a specialist or inclusive setting. ✅ A patient, compassionate, and flexible teaching approach. ✅ Strong knowledge of differentiation strategies and SEN best practices . ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
