Job description
A talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Haringey. The successful candidate will cultivate a love of music and develop musical skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering their creativity and appreciation. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons covering performance, composition, and appreciation across Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students effectively for GCSE Music examinations, ensuring a strong understanding of musical theory and history. Foster a creative and collaborative environment where students can explore their musical talents and develop their performance skills. Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular musical activities, such as choirs, bands, and instrumental ensembles. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Music. Demonstrated experience teaching Music at Key Stages 3 and 4. Strong musical skills, including performance ability on at least one instrument and a solid understanding of music theory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring a passion for music in students of all abilities. Benefits Inner London Payscale.
