Job description
Our Client is looking for a Social Science) to work within a highly regarded mixed secondary school based in Oxford. This is a permanent position to start from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the chance to teach Psychology, Sociology, and Health & Social Care across KS4 and KS5 in a supportive and high-achieving department. The school consistently delivers results well above national averages — in 2024, over 85% of students achieved grades 9–4 across the Social Sciences, with impressive A-Level results and many students progressing to leading universities to study Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, and related subjects. You should be able to teach across KS4 and KS5, possess strong subject knowledge, and inspire students to excel academically and personally. Essential requirements include: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Ability to teach Psychology, Sociology, and Health & Social Care Enthusiastic, reflective classroom practice Excellent communication and organisational skills Eligibility to work in the UK Salary and Benefits The post is offered on a permanent school contract with a competitive salary in line with the school’s pay scale (MPS/UPS equivalent).
