Job description
School Business Manager required January 2026 Good mixed school based in Enfield School Business Manager to join a professional and experienced leadership team Our Client is looking for a School Business Manager to work within a large, high-performing mixed secondary school in Enfield. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of financial management, HR, premises, and administration, playing a central role in the smooth and efficient running of the school. School Information This well-regarded 11–18 comprehensive educates around 1,400 pupils and enjoys an excellent local reputation for academic excellence and student welfare, with 95% of students achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The school prides itself on high standards, community engagement, and a transparent, supportive leadership structure. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing budgets, payroll, procurement, health and safety, and compliance, working closely with the Headteacher, Governors, and external partners. This is a varied and rewarding position that requires a strong balance of strategic oversight and hands-on management. Staff describe the environment as professional, forward-thinking, and collaborative. The school offers a supportive working culture, regular professional training, and a focus on wellbeing.
