Food Technology Teacher – Highly Regarded Secondary School – Cheltenham – April Start Location: Cheltenham | Contract: Full-Time, Permanent | Salary: MPS/UPS A renowned secondary school in Cheltenham is seeking a talented and passionate Food Technology Teacher to join its dynamic department. The school has a strong focus on practical learning and the promotion of healthy eating, and this role offers the chance to make a real impact on students' skills and wellbeing. Your Role as Food Technology Teacher: • Teach Food Preparation and Nutrition lessons to students in KS3 and KS4. • Provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions about food and nutrition. • Organize and oversee practical cooking lessons, promoting safety, hygiene, and creativity. • Lead extracurricular clubs focused on cooking, healthy eating, and sustainable food practices. • Support students in their GCSE exams and guide them through their coursework. Who We’re Looking For: • A qualified Food Technology Teacher with a passion for the subject and a commitment to promoting healthy eating. • Excellent practical teaching skills, with the ability to engage students through hands-on activities. • Strong organizational and classroom management skills. • An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
