Job description
Female PE ECT required January 2026 Mixed secondary school based in Maidstone Female PE ECT to join a reflective and collaborative PE department Our Client is seeking a Female PE ECT to begin their teaching career within a supportive secondary school in Maidstone. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 Female PE, delivering a well-sequenced curriculum focused on historical enquiry, analytical writing and critical thinking. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT seeking strong guidance and a stable teaching environment. School Information This 11–18 school educates approximately 1,250 pupils and has a strong reputation for its teaching culture, consistent behaviour standards and clear routines. The Female PE department works closely as a team, sharing resources, assessments and best practice to ensure consistency and high standards across year groups. ECTs receive weekly mentoring, reduced teaching load, structured observation cycles and tailored CPD targets. Teachers describe the school as calm, respectful and highly collegial. Senior leaders are supportive and committed to developing confident, skilled classroom practitioners from the outset of their careers.
