Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an inspirational History Teacher to join a prestigious independent co-educational school in Warwickshire from January 2026. The school is known for its academic excellence, nurturing ethos and commitment to developing independent, enquiring learners. The Role This is a full-time position teaching History across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level. The successful candidate will join a well-established Humanities department that delivers an engaging curriculum rich in context, challenge and debate. The Department The History department occupies well-equipped classrooms and is supported by dedicated Sixth Form study area. Students enjoy debating societies, lecture series and overseas trips exploring key historical sites. Results are consistently outstanding, with the majority of A-Level students progressing to Russell Group universities. About You QTS or equivalent qualification with a strong degree in History or a related subject. Excellent classroom practitioner with enthusiasm for scholarship.
