Job description
A welcoming and inclusive faith primary school in Harrow is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team from January to July 2026 . This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a nurturing environment that values academic excellence, spiritual development, and strong community connections. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring young learners, upholding the school’s ethos, and helping every child achieve their best. Location: Harrow, North West London Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Fixed Term (Until July 2026) Working Pattern: Full-Time Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience) Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons for Year 2 pupils. Support children’s academic and personal growth within the school’s faith-based ethos. Track and assess progress effectively, ensuring all pupils reach their potential. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment rooted in respect and care. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum . A reflective and motivated practitioner with high expectations for all learners. Commitment to supporting the school’s faith values and inclusive ethos . Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
