Job description
A highly regarded independent school in Nottinghamshire is seeking a creative and committed Art Teacher to join its successful Creative Arts Department on a full-time, permanent basis from April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a supportive academic environment that values creativity, originality, and high-quality artistic outcomes. Art Teacher required from April 2026 Independent school based in Nottinghamshire Full-time, permanent position The role involves teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver inspiring practical and theory-based lessons, support portfolio development, and contribute to exhibitions, enrichment activities, and the wider cultural life of the school. Experience and Qualifications QTS and a degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related discipline Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Strong knowledge of a range of artistic media and techniques Ability to nurture creativity while maintaining high academic standards Willingness to contribute to extracurricular and enrichment activities School Information This independent school in Nottinghamshire is known for its strong academic standards, supportive leadership, and excellent pastoral care.
