Full-time, Permanent - September 2025 Start Are you a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Music with a desire to share your love of music with young people? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our thriving Music department in a secondary school in Westminster. About the School: Our school is a vibrant and inclusive learning community where students are encouraged to explore their musical talents and express themselves through music. We provide a supportive and stimulating environment where students can learn to play instruments, sing in choirs, compose their own music, and participate in a wide range of musical ensembles and performances. About the Music Department: The Music department is a dynamic and collaborative team with a shared passion for fostering students' musicality and creativity. We offer a rich and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of musical styles and traditions, from classical to contemporary. About the Role: Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially Key Stage 5. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources. Lead and direct school ensembles (e.g., choir, orchestra, band). Organize and participate in school concerts and performances. Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to the department's curriculum development. Work collaboratively with colleagues. Participate in professional development opportunities. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Music. Demonstrates a passion for teaching Music. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
