Science Teacher – Thriving Secondary School – Bournemouth – September Start Location: Bournemouth Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS A passionate Science Teacher is required at a well-established and high-achieving secondary school in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a progressive and dynamic environment where science is at the heart of the school’s academic achievement. Your Role as Science Teacher: • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5. • Develop students’ scientific inquiry skills through practical experiments and investigations. • Provide targeted support to students, ensuring all learners meet their full potential. • Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development and resources. • Lead extracurricular science activities, including clubs, trips, and STEM events. Who We’re Looking For: • A qualified Science Teacher with QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply). • A strong passion for teaching science and inspiring young minds. • Excellent subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. • A commitment to creating an inclusive, stimulating, and supportive learning environment. • Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
