This may be the AV Technician opportunity you’ve been looking for… A well-regarded educational institution in Westminster is seeking a skilled and reliable AV Technician to join its technical support team and play a key role in the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning, and events. Key Details AV Technician required Full-time, permanent position, starting as soon as possible Support classroom teaching, performances, assemblies, and school events Work within a collaborative and supportive technical team The Institution This is a forward-thinking and inclusive independent school in Westminster that places high value on the effective use of technology to enhance learning and communication. Audio-visual provision is central to daily teaching, productions, and extracurricular activities, and the AV team plays a vital role in ensuring smooth, professional delivery across the site. Location & Salary Location: Westminster Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience AV Technician – Experience & Skills Proven experience working with audio-visual systems, including sound, lighting, projection, and video equipment Confident in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment for lessons, performances, and events Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to AV and electrical equipment Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities Excellent communication skills and a professional, helpful manner Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Legal right to work in the UK Application If you are a proactive and technically capable AV Technician looking for a varied and rewarding role within an educational environment, we would be delighted to hear from you.
