Job description
A leading independent 3–18 school in Worcestershire is looking to appoint a talented Teacher of English to join its successful department from January 2026. English sits at the heart of the school’s academic identity, with pupils encouraged to read widely, think critically and express themselves with confidence. The department enjoys excellent outcomes at GCSE and A-Level. The Role You will teach English across KS3–KS5, delivering Literature and Language to high-achieving pupils. Lessons are intellectually stimulating, discussion-led and focused on depth rather than coverage. You will: Teach small, engaged classes Prepare pupils for GCSE and A-Level success Contribute to enrichment such as debating or creative writing Work within a collaborative, academically focused department The School The school combines traditional values with a forward-thinking approach to education.
