Job description
Are you an ambitious and innovative Design & Technology Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity at a leading independent school in Manchester? We are partnering with a highly regarded private school to appoint a talented DT Teacher to join their exceptional faculty as soon as possible. School Information The school is a distinguished independent school known for its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. They foster a supportive and inclusive community where students are empowered to reach their full potential. About the DT Department The DT Department is comprised of a dedicated team of specialists passionate about teaching and learning. Collaboration and professional growth are highly valued within the department. Responsibilities • Teach Design & Technology across KS3/4, with the possibility of KS5 (A-Level) • Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons • Assess and monitor student progress • Contribute to curriculum development and innovation Qualifications and Experience • Degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, or related discipline • PGCE or QTS • Experience working as a DT Teacher in a secondary school (including PGCE placements) • ECTs are encouraged to apply Salary and Benefits • Competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale (depending on experience) • Supportive and collaborative working environment • Access to modern facilities and teaching resources • Opportunities for CPD and professional growth Application Please send your CV as soon as possible to be considered for this DT Teacher role in Manchester, starting ASAP.
