Job description
A small, friendly, and high-achieving primary school in Islington is looking for a multi-talented Receptionist to join their dedicated administrative team. The School & Environment Located in a leafy part of Islington, this school offers a serene and scholarly atmosphere. It is a single-form entry school where "everyone knows everyone," requiring a Receptionist who is a natural "people person" and can contribute to the school’s warm and supportive environment. The Role & Operational Excellence In this smaller school setting, the Receptionist often acts as the "hub" for all school information, requiring a high level of versatility. General Enquiries: Answering the telephone and handling face-to-face enquiries from parents with empathy and efficiency. Admissions Admin: Assisting the Headteacher with the administration of Nursery and Reception place applications and parent tours. Clerical Support: Providing word processing and clerical support to the teaching staff, including the preparation of classroom resources and displays. Compliance: Regularly auditing the visitor logs and ensuring the reception area is presented to a professional standard at all times. Salary Range: £31,000 – £35,000 (Inner London Scale) Start Date: ASAP (Full-time, Permanent)
