Job description
Are you an organised, efficient and proactive School Administrator seeking a new opportunity within a well-structured and supportive school? Wayman Education is recruiting a full-time School Administrator for an Outstanding secondary school in Hertfordshire , starting January . The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting daily school operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes across departments. · School Administrator Role · Full-time position · Hertfordshire · January Start · Competitive Support Staff Salary School Information This high-performing 11–18 school is known for excellent behaviour, strong leadership and a calm, professional working environment. Responsibilities Managing the school’s front office and reception area Handling telephone, email and in-person enquiries Maintaining student records, attendance data and safeguarding documentation Supporting HR, admissions and general administrative duties Preparing letters, reports, timetables and communication documents Providing high-level administrative support to teaching and leadership teams Experience and Qualifications School administration experience preferred but not essential Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and MIS systems (SIMS/Arbor desirable) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of organisation and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Salary Paid in line with the support staff salary scale .
