Job description
English Teacher required January 2026 Independent mixed school based in Cambridge English Teacher to join a high-achieving and well-resourced department Our Client is seeking an English Teacher for a prestigious independent day school in Cambridge. The successful candidate will teach English across KS3–KS5 and contribute to extension programmes, including debating societies and university preparation classes for English literature applicants. School Information This selective independent school caters to approximately 1,000 pupils from Year 7 to sixth form. The school has a longstanding reputation for academic excellence, with GCSE and A Level English results regularly exceeding 95 percent grades 9–7 and A*–B respectively. The English department offers a dynamic curriculum that encourages literary exploration, analytical rigour, and expressive writing.
