Job description
A Good rated 11–18 comprehensive school in Shropshire is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its strong STEM faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent role teaching across KS3–KS4, with potential to teach A-Level depending on specialism and experience. The Science department is thriving and well-resourced, located in a purpose-built block of fully equipped laboratories with modern apparatus, fume cupboards and data-logging technology. A team of experienced technicians provides excellent support, allowing teachers to focus on delivering creative, high-impact lessons. The Role Deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Contribute to curriculum innovation and practical project development. Participate in Science Week, STEM clubs and partnership initiatives. Inspire students to pursue scientific study beyond school. The Ideal Candidate Holds QTS or equivalent and has strong subject knowledge in Science. Committed to practical, hands-on learning and experimentation.
