Job description
A prestigious boarding school in Oxfordshire is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join their science faculty on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a high-achieving academic environment where science is highly valued and students are motivated, curious, and engaged both inside and outside the classroom. The Role You will teach Physics across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience and timetable requirements. The role involves delivering rigorous and engaging lessons that develop students’ conceptual understanding, mathematical application, and practical investigation skills. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess and track progress, and provide targeted support to ensure strong academic outcomes. Practical work is a key strength of the curriculum, and you will deliver experiments safely and confidently in well-equipped laboratories. As part of a boarding school community, you may also contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, academic clubs, or occasional boarding duties, depending on the nature of the role.
